Exploring Pain - In Theory and Practice

  • THE COLLECTIVE YOGA MASSAGE MYOTHERAPY 494 Lygon Street Brunswick East, VIC, 3057 Australia (map)

Our society often has an unhelpful relationship with pain - We see it as something to fight and avoid at all costs.

But what if pain is an amazing evolutionary tool that has helped humans evolve for millions of years?

From the perspective of osteopathy, yoga and psychology, this workshop will explore the scientific basis of pain, use yoga to explore the sensation of pain and give attendees some tools to work with pain in the future.

This workshop is suitable for everyone, whether you are in pain yourself, work with people in pain or are just interested in what pain is and how it works.

Bill Adamson
